APC National Chairman, John Odigie Oyegun, has pacified Nigerians to keep enduring the current economic hardship.
He spoke recently during a radio program on City 101.5 FM. According to him, things will change as the Muhammadu Buhari administration is at work.
“Indeed there is pain, there is distress but one can already begin to see the brightness that is coming,” he said.
In September 2016, the APC leader said the same thing. He assured that Nigeria's economy is on the recovery path.
“Truly times are hard, but as a Party we are confident that with ongoing economic recovery efforts of the President Muhammadu Buhari administration and the continued support of Nigerians, the country will emerge from the current economic recession stronger and better.” Vanguard quoted him as saying.
However, since his statement, the situation seemingly has gone worse. The prices of commodities keep increasing, job loss hasn't abated and the cost of living is higher than necessary.
