Anti-IPOB Protesters Take Case To American Embassy (Photos)

Members of Stand Up for Peace Movement have gone on a protest in Abuja on Thursday, in reaction to America’s stand that IPOB is not a terrorist organization.
Some members of anti-Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) group, on Thursday, staged a protest in Abuja in reaction to United States of America’s stand that it did not regard the secessionist agitator group, as a terrorist organisation.
According to exclusive photos shared online by Punch newspaper, some of the posters the protesters who are members of Stand Up for Peace Movement carried, read; “No to IPOB,” “No to IPOB and affiliate organisations,” etc.
They took their grievances to the American Embassy in Abuja, as captured in some photographs by Olatunji Obasa.

Nurse shark sinks its teeth into the stomach of a man and refuses to let go (video)






A Florida man was bitten by a nurse shack and had to struggle for a long moment with the help of friends to set himself free from the animal's jaws.
The incident was caught on video. In the footage captured on September 2 off the coast of Marathon city, Ervin Maccarty is seen stepping onto his boat and calling to his friends for help as a nurse shark hangs off his abdomen.

It's thought that Hugh Hefner's wife Crystal Harris will inherit nothing after his death. The Playboy founder has passed away at the age of 91, leaving 30-year-old Crystal a widow.

But having signed an iron-clad prenuptial agreement before saying 'I do', it's thought that the former Playmate of the Year will inherit nothing of his multi-million dollar fortune.

Although Crystal is believed to have never been added to Hef's will, she'll apparently be 'looked after' following his death from natural causes.

Carlo Ancelotti Sacked As Bayern Munich Manager


Carlo Ancelotti has been sacked as manager of Bayern Munich. Following Wednesday's 3-0 Champions League defeat by Paris St-Germain, the club's board has decided to dismiss the Italian, who replaced Pep Guardiola at the start of last season.

Ancelotti, 58, helped Bayern win the Bundesliga last term, but they only reached the last eight of the Champions League and the German Cup semi-finals.

Assistant boss Willy Sagnol will take temporary charge.

FG Approves Immediate Retirement Of NAFDAC DG


The Nigerian government has approved the retirement of the acting director general of the National Agency for Food and Drugs Administration and Control, NAFDAC, Yetunde Oni.

The directive for Mrs. Oni’s ‘immediate retirement’ was granted by the R.P. Ugo, a Permanent Secretary in the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.

The directive, dated September 28, was in response to a letter written to the SGF by Mrs. Oni over the worker’s unrest in the regulatory agency.

NAFDAC workers commenced an indefinite strike last week demanding among others the immediate removal of Mrs. Oni, whom they said was already due for retirement.
