Arsenal Manager Arsene Wenger Writes Heartfelt Message To Family Of Missing Fan

Arsene Wenger has written a heartfelt letter to the family of a missing Arsenal fan .

Jack Glenn, 23, was last seen entering the River Foyle on February 2.

Thousands of people have thrown their support behind the #Getjackback campaign that was launched following the Gunners' fans' disappearance .

In a letter addressed to Mr Glenn's mother Hester, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has expressed his "sincere condolences" to the family.
The Premier League manager added: "Although I did not have the privilege of knowing Jack personally, I am aware that he enthusiastically followed the fortunes of his team, and for this we are extremely grateful.

"I know that words mean so little at times such as these, but I do wish you to know that our thoughts are with you at this very sad and difficult time."

A family friend said: "The letter arrived today from Arsenal Football Club, and Jack's mummy Hester asked for it to be shared on the Getjackback Facebook page.

"Jack was a massive Arsenal fan, and obviously a very keen footballer. Something like this means a lot to the family."

Searches have been taking place during daylight hours between the Peace Bridge and Foyle Bridge and at Culmore Point to try and find Mr Glenn's body.

The support the family has received has been phenomenal. Everyone has been devastated by this.
