The man, simply identified as Umaru was spotted in Abuja with part of his intestines bulging out. He is in medical distress urgently need fund to undergo surgery.
A Facebook user identified as Sheikh Yahaya Abdullahi Mato, who shared the story and photos, revealed that he met the man in Abuja and was moved to tears when he told me how the family of his wife took her away from him leaving just him, his illness and his children whom he struggles to take care of.
According to Mato, the National Hospital Abuja charged him N450,000 (four hundred and fifty thousand Naira only) for the operation.
