TV host, Jeremy Kyle, recently lost his mother, 85, after a lengthy battle with dementia. The grieving host travelled to Barbados to comfort his father and he went with his new girlfriend, Vicky Burton, who is also his kids' former nanny.
Kyle is reportedly devastated by his mother's death, though she's been ill for a while. According to The Sun, a source said: “Nan had been unwell for a long time, and she was in her eighties, but it doesn’t make it any easier for the family to come to terms with."
His visit to the Caribbean Island of Barbados with Vicky was initially rumoured to mean that he was planning a wedding there with his girlfriend. There were claims that they were planning a Caribbean wedding, but that rumour has now been debunked as it is revealed that marriage is the last thing on their mind and they only went there so the family could try to relax after their recent loss.
“That’s why he took his father away on holiday – he needed the chance to relax after everything a traumatic period and he felt his dad needed a break too,” said the source.
This will be the second time Jeremy is taking Vicky to Barbados, the first time being when she was working as his children's nanny. He is reportedly a fan of Barbados and visits the island often.
Jeremy's relationship with Vicky started after he divorced his wife, model Carla, 41, after a 13-year marriage.
