Ghana Central Bank Governor Resigns

The governor of Ghana's central bank, Nashiru Issahaku, has resigned. Former president John Mahama appointed Issahaku in April 2016, but Mahama was defeated in an election in December, which created uncertainty over the governor's position under the new government of President Nana Akufo-Addo.
