Heart-Stopping Bodycam Footage Shows Moment Raging Killer Who Beheaded Woman Battered Police With Hammer

This shocking footage shows the moment a killer battered two police officers with a hammer in a frenzied attack.

Savage Jamshid Piruz launched the vicious attack on police after they tried to apprehend him in Crawley, West Sussex, on suspicion of burglary .

The Afghan national came to the UK in 2014 after serving seven years in prison for beheading a woman in Holland.

He had allegedly attacked her after watching Taliban videos was allowed into Britain without any checks.

This bodycam footage shows police being attacked by the murderer after shouting for Piruz to come out of a garage.

He burst out and attacked them, leaving the officers with head injuries.

Piruz was sentenced to life in prison for the act, as a judge condemned the "truly terrifying" act.

Jailing Piruz to serve a minimum of six years, Judge Jeremy Gold QC told him: "This was an incident of truly terrifying violence, the officers were in fear of their lives and you had no reason to attack them whatsoever."

The 34-year-old killer launched into his sickening frenzy after watching Taliban videos - some that showed beheadings.

Piruz attacked his terrified Chinese tenant in the Dutch city of Almere in 2006 and a year later was caged for a minimum of 12 years for the murder.

He was released in 2014 having served just seven years and as he is a permanent Dutch resident, was free to travel throughout the EU and arrived in the UK.

The Afghan national assaulted a member of staff at Gatwick Airport soon after arriving, but was released onto the UK streets by magistrates.

Just a few days later, on January 7 last year, police were called to investigate a burglary in Crawley, West Sussex, where they met with Piruz who launched into a frenzied attack on the pair.

Piruz pleaded guilty at Hove Crown Court to two counts of attempting to cause grievous bodily harm with intent, burglary and affray.

He was sentenced to life in prison after the judge described it as a "truly terrifying attack".

Two counts of attempted burglary and one of threatening with an offensive weapon will lie on file.
