Ondo gov election: Supreme court dismisses Jimoh Ibrahim's appeal, affirms Eyitayo Jegede as PDP candidate

A five-man panel of justices led by the acting Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Walter Onnoghen, this morning dismissed all appeals filed by billionaire Businessman, Jimoh Ibrahim, challenging the decision of the Court of Appeal Abuja to reinstate Eyitayo Jegede as the governorship candidate of PDP in the Ondo state governorship election slated for Saturday November 26th.

Justice Ibrahim Salauwa of the Court of Appeal Abuja yesterday reinstated Jegede as the party's candidate and overruled the October 14th judgment of Justice Okon Abang that made Jimoh Ibrahim become PDP's governorship candidate in the state.
