Police officer goes against service order by allowing pupils hold his firearms

Photo of a Kenyan police officer who allowed school girls to hold his firearm while they posed for a snap has been making rounds on social media. In the photo, the smiling officer is seen posing next to 7 schools girls, while two of them hold firearms, presumably belonging to the officer and a colleague.
It’s believed that the photo was taken during the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) or Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) examinations.
According to the National Police Service Act on the regulation of how to use firearms, servicemen are prohibited from giving out their guns to anyone, including their colleagues.
