Blessing Agbomhere empowers 1000 Etsako youths in line with Godwin Obaseki's promise to create 200,000 jobs

Auchi Polytechnic on Saturday November 5th came alive, as thousands of Etsako youths converged in the polytechnic's auditorium, at the instance of Blessing Abgomhere, whose Foundation empowered  1000 Etsako youths...

The empowerment programme with the theme "Blessing Agbomhere Social Media Summit", had the youths lectured by resource persons drawn from across the country, on the use of the social media for profit making ventures, thus being an instrument for job creation and employment.

Participants at the event were given various items ranging from Notepads, Phones and other gadgets, to enable them get started in the new venture. Certificates of participation were issued to participants in the empowerment programme. Nursing mothers were not left out, as those of them who attended were handsomely rewarded with 30,000 Naira each as take-off grant.

Popular stand-up comedian, Ambassador I Go Dye got the audience reeling with laughter as he dished out delightful jokes to the admiration of the participants.

The empowerment programme, says Agbomhere is a testament to the fact that the 200,000 Jobs promised by the Edo State Governor-Elect, Godwin Obaseki, is realisable, as the Social Media alone has the potential of creating about a quarter of the 200,000 Jobs promised. The Social Media in the 21st century has become a powerful tool with limitless possibilities when gainfully engaged. He called on Etsako people to socialise on the social media for the purpose of networking.

Blessing Agbomhere hails from Fugar, but cuts across all Etsako Local Government Areas of Edo State. Agbomhere who is fondly called MR BEE has so much passion for youths and women development. The people of Etsako are blessed to have Blessing Agbomhere.
