New Super Eagles Technical Adviser gets 2-year contract

Rohr
The Nigeria Football Federation has announced a two-year deal for the newly appointed Technical Adviser of the Super Eagles, Gernot Rohr.
The confirmation of the deal for Rohr was made via an official statement from the NFF.

At a simple ceremony at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja, the NFF president, Amaju Pinnick, and general secretary, Mohammed Sanusi, signed on behalf of the Nigeria federation, in-between Mr. Rohr’s own signature.
Mr. Pinnick told thenff.com that the agreement was for two years, with the former German defender, who also coached top French club Girondins Bordeaux and elite Tunisian side, Etoile du Sahel.
The NFF handed Rohr a target of qualifying the Super Eagles for the 2018 FIFA World Cup finals in Russia.
“We are happy that this has been sealed and we can now focus on other arrangements for the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers starting in October,” said Pinnick.
Rohr, 63, played for FC Girondins Bordeaux in France as a defender and as coach, took the team to the UEFA Cup final in 1996 before they lost to Bayern Munich of Germany.
He also coached the national teams of Gabon, Niger Republic and Burkina Faso
