Nicolas Cage involved in a ‘freak accident’ on movie set in Bulgaria


Actor Nicolas Cage broke his ankle, in what was described as a freak accident, while filming the York Alec Shackleton-directed Millennium Films bank heist action film #211. The 53 year old actor was immediately taken to a hospital in Sofia, Bulgaria, close to where the film crew was shooting. Doctors told him that he needed to have surgery done to repair his ankle, but he declined and immediately returned to Los Angeles California to get treatment for his ankle.


Cage's representative confirmed that he is currently recuperating, but that he hopes to return to the set and probably resume working within the next two weeks.

Buhari is not harassing Jonathan's family, he's only allowing the law to take it's course - Presidency

The Presidency through Femi Adeshina (the special Adviser to the President (Media & Publicity) has responded to ta news headline in a national newspaper of Wednesday, April 26, entitled: Buhari's Government Harassing My Family, Says Jonathan.


The paper said former President Goodluck Jonathan made the allegation in a new book, "Against The Run of Play", written by the Chairman of ThisDay Editorial Board, Mr. Olusegun Adeniyi.

Former Education Minister Babalola Borishade dies in London


Former Minister of Education Babalola Borishade has died. He died today April 26th in a hospital in London after battling a lung and heart disease. He was 71.

Borishade served as a Nigerian Minister from 1999 till 2011 in different capacities, including Minister of State, Power and Steel. May his soul rest in peace, amen.
