OJ Simpson could be released as early as October after 9 years in prison


According to Sports Illustrated, former baseball legend and accused murderer OJ Simpson will likely be released from prison this summer – on parole. On December 5, 2008, Simpson was sentenced to a total of 33 years in prison, with the possibility of parole after about nine years, in 2017 for armed robbery and kidnapping. $2.1bn arms Fraud: Abuja court orders Musiliu Obanikoro’s wife to forfeit her Abuja property


An Abuja High Court has ordered the wife of former Minister of state for Defence, Musiliu Obanikoro, Moroophat Obanikoro, to forfeit her property in Abuja to the Federal government pending the outcome of investigations being carried out by EFCC on the financial transactions of her husband and children.

Obanikoro is currently being investigated for allegedly receiving some of the loots from the $2.1 billion arms deal fraud.

4,000 UNIOSUN Students Face Rustication For 'Investing School Fees In MMM'

The Management of Osun State university is set to expel over 4,000 students for allegedly investing their school in the ponzi scheme, MMM.

The authority said students who fail to meet the deadline and did not want rustication should apply in writing to the authorities to grant leave of absence for the current semester, pledging to make payments before resumption.

Donald Trump has accused former president Barack Obama of being responsible for the demonstrations that have been going on across the country since the start of his presidency.

He made this accusation during an interview with Fox which will air on Tuesday morning. Though he had no evidence with which to defend his claims, Trump went further to suggest that Obama and his people were also behind the leaks of classified information from the White House to the press.

41 Nigerian human trafficking victims return from Mali (photos)


41 Nigerian women, some of them in their 20s, who are victims of Human trafficking, returned to Nigeria from Mali, yesterday February 27th. They were received by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Diaspora Matters, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, along with officials of the National Agency for Protection and Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) and other government officials. 
The women arrived the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos in an aircraft belonging to the Nigeria Air Force.
