President Conde Elected AU Chairman


President Alpha Conde of the Republic of Guinea has been elected as the new Chairman of the African Union. He succeeds President Idriss Deby of Republic of Chad.
His election was conducted by the Heads of State and Government of the African Union, during their 28th Ordinary Session holding in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Two girls were today caught in Port Harcourt with loads of master keys by some guys while trying  to escape with some stolen items. They were apprehended but were spared being undressed and beaten, but were handed over to the police. They gave their names as Uchechi and Favour. More photos  of them after the cut.

Police Arrests Biafra Times Publisher, 9 Others For Alleged Sedition


The police in Lagos on Monday said they had arrested the publisher of Biafra Times and nine others for allegedly publishing and circulating seditious and malicious publication. Parading the 10 suspects, Lagos State Police Commissioner, Fatai Owoseni, said 515 copies of the offending newspaper were recovered during a raid on the printing press in Shomolu, Lagos.

“The printing press has been shut and the environment is being monitored.

 “This is an offence punishable under the Criminal Law of Lagos State,” Owoseni said. He added that the suspects would be charged to court as soon as detectives finished interrogating them.

A notorious ISIS executioner has allegedly been shot dead by a group of anonymous gunmen after a raid on his car yesterday.

Abu Sayyaf, known for playing a prominent role in ISIS execution and propaganda videos, is thought to have been killed alongside a fellow militant in Nineveh, a city in Iraq which is located on the outskirts of Mosul.

The terrifying ISIS killer is known for his "huge body and heavy arms" and is thought to have decapitated hundreds of victims.

Senior Pastor of the Omega Fire Ministry, Apostle Johnson Suleman has departed the Abuja headquarters of his church to the Department of Security Service, DSS.

Donned in a black suit, Suleman departed his Mabushi office in company of his entourage amid tight security.

The president is on vacation in the United Kingdom, but a statement from his spokespersons had said he would use the opportunity to attend to his medical need.
