Canada to mark 151st birthday with weed legalization in 2018

Canada will be marking its151st birthday in style, as recreational Marijuana will be legalized for all Canadians over the age of 18 by July 1. 2018.
According to reports, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau of Liberal Party will officially announce the plan on April 10.
The move comes after major political parties. As well, a majority of Canadians showed support to legalizing and regulating marijuana in line with the November recommendations of a federally appointed task force on the drug.

Former Minister of Aviation, who was fired by former President Goodluck Jonathan, over claims that she bought BMW cars for N225 million while in office, says with all humility, she is one of the best ministers to have served in the Aviation sector. In an interview with The Cable, Oduah said:
"I think with all sense of humility, I was one of the best ministers to ever serve in aviation. The evidence is there. I didn’t do it because I was just a minister. I coined the word “transformation”, and I wanted transformation to be personified. I wanted it to be on the record that indeed we can transform. 

Heroin use among white people has tripled since 2001 - New Study

According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, In 2015, 52,404 people died from drug overdoses. 63% percent of those deaths involved an opioid.
More people die from drug overdoses than from guns or car accidents. At the peak of the AIDS epidemic in 1995, 43,115 people in the United States died from the disease.
Furthermore, since 1999, the number of overdoses from prescription opioids like oxycodone and hydrocodone, as well as illicit drugs like heroin, have quadrupled. In fact, heroin now accounts for one in four overdose deaths in the United States.
