Indonesian villagers cut out python's stomach to remove body of their missing friend (Graphic photos)


Indonesian villagers feared the worst after their friend went missing on Sunday and where they found him was horrifying. The lifeless body of 25-year-old Akbar Salubiro, was found inside the stomach of a 7m-long python, who had swallowed him whole. According to reports, the deceased was said to have gone to harvest palm oil, but never returned home.

Brexit: UK Prime Minister signs the letter that will trigger Article 50


UK Prime Minister, Theresa May is to trigger Article 50 today and as a result kick-start the Brexit process that will see Britain leave the European Union in two years' time. The UK voted to withdraw from the EU in a hotly contested and controversial referendum in June 2016 but formal "divorce" proceedings cannot begin until the Prime Minister officially informs Europe that the government is triggering Article 50.

Nursing home employee secretly records seniors having sex, posts video to Snapchat


A nursing home employee, 20-year-old Alexis Williams, an employee at the Bristol Court Assisted Living Facility on 3479 54th Avenue North in unincorporated St. Petersburg in Florida is in police custody Wednesday after detectives say she filmed two senior residents having sex without their knowledge or consent and shared the video with her followers on Snapchat in August of last year.
The victims, who haven’t been identified are an 81-year-old woman and a 59-year-old man.

Audu Maikori Granted Bail By Kaduna Chief Magistrate Court

Audu Maikori, Chocolate City Boss was on Monday granted bail by a Kaduna Chief Magistrate Court.  

Maikori was arraigned alongside his driver Simon Joseph on a two-count charge of attempt to incite the general public through false information contrary to Section 24 of Cyber Crime Act Law of the Federation of Nigeria 2015; DAILY TRUST reports.

CBN Pumps $185m Into FX Market For Naira To Gain More Strength

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has pumped a total of $185 million into the foreign exchange market in order to continue to save the naira against the greenback.

The Apex bank on Tuesday pumped the sum of $85 million into the Deposit Money Banks (DMBs) at the rate of N357/$1 for onward sale to retail end-users at not more than N360/$1, for invisibles such as basic travel allowance (BTAs), medicals, school fees.

The bank also offered the sum of $100 million to authorized forex dealers in the interbank wholesale window to meet the requests of genuine wholesale customers. 

Governor Amosun - My Problem With Dangote

The Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun, on Monday explained why he has a strained relationship with Nigerian billionaire, Aliko Dangote.  

PREMIUM TIMES reports that Amosun gave the explanation during a press conference in his office in Abeokuta. The Governor said, “Why I am against Dangote is that the heavy trucks of the company damage the roads. An example is Ilaro-Papalanto road. Is it the cars of our people that destroyed the roads? No! It is the heavy trucks of the company.''
