Photos: Nigerian students attacked by locals in Greater Noida, India


Some Nigerian students on Monday sustained severe injuries after a group of locals attacked them in Pari Chowk, Noida. The incident occurred at 6 PM when a group, comprising hundreds of locals, held a protest demanding all Africans living in Greater Noida region vacate their rented houses immediately. 

The protest was triggered by the death of a class 12 student, who reportedly died of drug overdose, and five Nigerian students from the same neighbourhood were detained in connection with the case.

Michael Davis makes 54% profit after selling Donald Trump's childhood home

A New York property where Donald Trump once lived in as a child has been generating quite a bit of interest and value lately.

It ultimately sold in December to real estate investor Michael Davis, who purchased the 2,500-square-foot home for $1,390,500. Davis has now sold the property to an unnamed bidder on March 23, 2017 for $2.14 million making nearly 54% profit in just 3 months.

"I finished NYSC in 2001" - Dino Melaye finally shares a copy of his NYSC certificate

Senator Dino Melaye has shared a copy of his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Certificate. The document states that he started the programme on 9th July 2000 and finished on 8th July 2001. On Monday, the Vice Chancellor of the Ahmadu Bello University, Ibrahim Garba, affirmed that Melaye graduated from the institution with a 3rd class in Geography in the year 2000.

Last week, Peruvian Police seized a 1.4-kilogram shipment of cocaine that had Lionel Messi's face on the packaging.

The pictures show Messi's image in a Barcelona kit alongside his brand logo, as well as the 29-year-old's name.
The cocaine estimated at £73million worth also had other packages in the shipment carrying the royal seal of the King of Spain. 

According to AFP, the shipment was destined for Europe before it was seized by officials.

Dino Melaye has filed a petition at the Department of State Security DSS against publisher of Sahara Reporters, Omoyele Sowore, over recent allegations made by the online newspaper that he never graduated from Ahmadu Bello University, ABU Zaria. Dino has also filed a petition against Sowore at the office of the Inspector General of Police.
