Rebecca Ferdinand, wife to former Man U and England star player Rio Ferdinand passed away in May 2015 after a brief battle with breast cancer and the footballer has now revealed in a new interview how her death made him wonder if he'll ever be able to feel happy again or be able to take care of his three children - aged 10, 8 and 5.

The Vice Chancellor of the Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Professor Ibrahim Garba, appeared before the Senate Committee on Ethics and Priviledges this afternoon. The commttee is investigating allegations of fake certificate from the school leveled against Dino by Sahara Reporters.

Stepdad kills 2-year-old girl in anger after he lost computer game


A stepdad killed her 2-year-old stepdaughter by throwing her into a door in frustration because he lost a computer game he was playing. Szymon Brzozowski, 24, threw the toddler at the door's metal frame and she eventually died from "cranio-cerebral injuries".


The toddler, whose name was given as Lilka, did not lose consciousness after the attack but she couldn't eat or drink anything subsequently.

Muslim women stand together on Westminster bridge in solidarity with the victims of London terror attack

Muslim women dressed in headscarves stood hand-in-hand with others on Westminster Bridge in a show of solidarity with the victims of the terror attack. The women, who said they were wearing blue as a symbol of hope, stood holding hands for five minutes on the bridge in the afternoon. Saraki denies EFCC’s claim that he used his aides to launder N3.5 billion Paris Club Loan Refund


The EFCC has reportedly indicted the Senate President, Bukola Saraki and some of his aides in the alleged laundering of up to N3.5 billion from the Paris Club Loan Refund.

According to Channels TV, a source at the antigraft agency says investigation by some of its officials have revealed that some persons with close links to Saraki were used to launder N3.5 billion from the paris club refund.
