Photos: Another 159 stranded Nigerians repatriated from Libya

Libyan authorities on Thursday flew a total of 159 Nigerian migrants stranded in Libya, in the second voluntary repatriation operation. This comes after 162 stranded Nigerians whose bid were to travel to Europe from Libya were all flown back to Nigeria last month. The Nigerians, pictured in tracksuits and sneakers, were driven to the airport near the Libyan capital in two buses. 

Jesus tomb in Jerusalem reopens after $4m restoration (Photos)

A team of scientists and restorers have completed the restoration of Jesus tomb in the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem, at a cost of $4million. The restoration work, held up for more than 200 years, took only nine months to be completed. The tomb site is a cave where Roman Catholics and Orthodox Catholics believe Jesus was entombed and then was resurrected. It lies beneath a shrine called the Aedicule.

Eedris Abdulkarim Mocks Tuface Idibia - All You Do Is Get Women Pregnant

 

Veteran rapper, Eedris Abdulkarim, is trying to make comeback by badmouthing other artistes.  

In a chat with Planet TV, Eedris accused Tuface Idibia of disrespecting Daddy Showkey. He also mocked the ‘African Queen’ crooner for pulling out of a national protest earlier in the year.

Ivory Coast Thrash Russia in Friendly Match

 

England-based pair Jonathan Kodjia of Aston Villa and Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha fired Ivory Coast to a 2-0 win over Russia in a friendly at Krasnodar on Friday. 

Kodjia gave the Ivorians the lead in the 30th minute, cutting in from the left flank before hitting the ball hard into the top-right corner.
