President Buhari orders Police IG to end the crisis in Ile-Ife and Zaki-Biam

President Buhari met with the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris today where he gave a marching order to security agencies in Nigeria to immediately put an end to incidences of crisis present in some parts of the country.  

Speaking to Journalists after a the meeting with President Buhari at the State House, Abuja, police IG, Idris said it was untrue that the crisis in Benue and Osun States were related to religion or ethnicity.

Adam Johnson, former Sunderland and England footballer convicted last year for child sex offences is set to mark his first year behind bars with no visits from his family members, ex-teammates or friends, just barely a week since he lost his latest appeal.



The 29-year-old, jailed for six years 12 months ago after being convicted of sexually touching a 15-year-old girl fan, will be by himself in Moorland Jail in Doncaster on Friday - because only lawyers can enter on this day.
Speaking to Mirror Online, a source said: “Relatives always try and get in on the actual day on which a person was sent down if they can because they know how low they’ll be.

The Telegraph has obtained the first photo of Khalid Masood, the terrorist responsible for the Westminster attack. 

He is photographed with school friends who were taking part in a charity five-a-side tournament. The picture was taken around 1980, when Masood, who was known as Adrian Ajao was around 15-years-old.

Troops of 103 Battalion, 7 Division, Nigerian Army of Operation 'LAFIYA DOLE' along with some Civilian JTF today, conducted clearance operation at Gombole, Konduga Local Government Area of Borno State.
During the operation, the troops neutralized a number of Boko Haram terrorists hiding in the area. 
They also discovered and destroyed an Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) factory located in the village.
