The Senate today confirmed the nomination of 45 out of the 47 nnon-career ambassadorial ominees President Buhari sent to it for confirmation. The senators confirmed the nomination of 45 of the nominees but rejected two based on recommendations from the senate committee on Foreign Affairs.
The two rejected nominees are Justice Sylvanus Nsofor from Imo State and Jacob Daodu from Ondo State.
A report from the DSS accused the nominee from Ondo State nominee of been deceitful and indulged in corrupt practices.

Video: Fayose promises to tone down his criticism of President Buhari
Ekiti state governor, Ayo Fayose, has promised to tone down his crticism of President Buhari and his government. Fayose made the promise when he spoke with the Minister of Works, Roads and Housing Babatunde Fashola at the Ekiti state government house.
Fayose said this when he was thanking Fashola of the Federal government roads being constructed in the state.
"If we would be getting this much of help, we wouldn't be criticizing the Federal government like this and maybe bcause of you now, I would tone down".

London terror attack suspect identified as Khalid Masood
The attacker who murdered three people and injured many others before he was shot dead by the police in yesterday's London attack has been identified as Khalid Masood.
It has been confirmed that he was born in the UK and was in his mid 50s. It is strongly believed that he is inspired by Islamic extremism.
Yesterday, Mr Masood drove along Westminster Bridge yesterday afternoon killing a mother-of-two and a man in his mid-50s and injuring another 29 people, some of them critically. He then got out of the vehicle and ran round the corner to get into the grounds of the Palace of Westminster where he stabbed a police officer before he was gunned down.
Court finds two guilty of Cynthia Osokogu's murder



Justice Olabisi Akinlade of a Lagos High Court has found two out of the four accused persons guilty in the murder of Cynthia Osokogu, the 24 year old Nasarawa State University post graduate student who was murdered at Cosmilla Hotel, Lakeview Estate in Festac town on July 22nd 2012.
The two persons found guilty are Okwumo Nwabufo, 33 and Olisaeloka Ezike, 23. They were both found guilty of chaining, drugging and strangling Cynthia who came into Lagos to meet with Nwabufo. The deceased had come into Lagos to meet with Okwumo who she met on Facebook.

Man got pregnant and gave birth to his daughter because his wife could not get pregnant


A while back the news of a pregnant man who eventually gave birth to his child made headlines. The man has now revealed how he carried and gave birth to his daughter and the reason he did that.
Chris Rehs-Dupin, 33, made for a unique sight when he sported beards and a protruding belly that could not simply be explained off as a beer belly.
He carried the pregnancy to term, gave birth and even breastfed her and his reason for going through all that is because his wife could not fall pregnant.
