George Clooney was a surprise at the birthday of this 87-Year-old Superfan

Hollywood actor, George Clooney made a retiree’s dreams come true when he showed up to celebrate her 87th birthday. George gave Pat Adams the surprise of her life when he paid her an unexpected visit at Sunrise Senior Living UK’s residential home in Sonning, southeast England, where he presented her with a bouquet of flowers and a card before having a long chat with her.

Clooney’s visit came about after Adams had repeatedly wished, through the home’s “Wish upon a star” program, that she’d one day come face-to-face with her idol. Watch the excited 87 year old Pat Adams speak about the visit below...

Woman receives backlash for saying she is 'too beautiful' to stay faithful to her husband

A woman, Julia Stephenson who is a journalist, environmentalist and former It-girl,  has been labelled “deluded”, “shallow” and “embarrassing” after writing a tell-all article claiming she was unable to be faithful to her husband because she is “too beautiful”. Stephenson wrote a controversial article for the Mail Online titled: “The agony of being too beautiful to be faithful.”

Stephenson who rubbed shoulders with the likes of Tara Palmer-Tomkinson in her youth and gained a reputation as a society girl, in her article, wrote about her experiences of marrying young – aged 26 – to a man she described as “not much of a looker”.

Adele's final Melbourne concert which held over the weekend at the Etihad Stadium in Australia, ended when a gay man proposed to his partner in front of the crowd. The man identified as Chris, 37, caught the singer’s eye when he burst into tears during the opening number ‘Hello’ and was invited alongside his partner, Wade, on stage. Surprisingly, Wade dropped to one knee and asked for Chris’ hand in marriage.
