Magu cannot be re-presented to the senate by President Buhari- Dino Melaye says


Senator Dino Melaye says President Buhari cannot re-present acting EFCC Chairman, Ibrahim Magu, for screening after he was rejected by Majority of the senators last week.

Speaking on Channels TV last night, Melaye said this when he was reacting to allegations that majority of the senators rejected Magu because they fear he might come after them if confirmed.

Medical doctor who jumped into lagoon from 3rd mainland bridge, attempted suicide four years ago

It has been revealed that Medical doctor, Dr Allwell Orji who committed suicide on Sunday, 19th March, 2017 by jumping into the lagoon from 3rd mainland bridge had attempted suicide a number of times.
According to Sun News, Dr  Orji had tried jumping down from the family's two-storey building four years but was saved after their neighbours intervened.

Suspected fraudster and architect of several bank frauds in Lagos State, Ajisafe Olugbenga, 47, has been arrested by the operatives of Rapid Response Squad of the Lagos State Police Command.

Ajisafe, an ex-banker, who is popularly known as Harrison among his gang, was arrested after he was mentioned as the initiator of sims swap deal at a network provider’s outlet in Surulere, Lagos, and Abeokuta, Ogun State.
Before his arrest on Tuesday, he was on the run over his involvement in a N2 million fraud in one of the old generation banks in Lagos sometime in April, 2016.
