US president, Donald Trump took shots at China and North Korea aiming at the recently ballistic missile tests by Kim Jung Un.

US Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson is currently on s state visit to South Korea where he said all options are on the table including military options in dealing with North Korea.

South Africa mining massacre victims offered £75m in damages


The South African government has offered to pay 1.17bn rand (£75m) in compensation to victims of a 2012 police shooting that left 34 mineworkers dead and dozens wounded. 'The 1.17bn rand presented here is an amount linked to a certain number of individuals’ loss of support’ injuries and of course fatalities,” the police minister, Nathi Nhleko, told lawmakers.

A paramedic mother-of-five was killed yesterday after a man hijacked her ambulance and reversed, driving over her in New York City, US. Yadiro Arroyo, 44, and her partner had been responding to a call about a pregnant woman when at 7:10 p.m. they were alerted by a passing motorist that there was a man riding on the back bumper of the ambulance so they stopped the vehicle and got out to investigate.

Turkey set to ban TV dating show as the European country moves ever closer towards conservative Islam

Turkey's deputy Prime Minister Numan Kurtulmuş has announced that the government is to ban several popular television dating shows which do not fit in with 'traditions and customs'. He said: 'There are some strange programmes that would scrap the institution of family, take away its nobility and sanctity.' 
Despite the popularity of such shows, there has been thousands of complaints. Kurtulmuş said in an interview: 'We are working on this and we are coming to the end of it. God willing, in the near future, we will most likely remedy this with an emergency decree.

Zimbabwean woman confesses to eating 10 human bodies


A Zimbabwean woman from Harare claiming to be a witch has allegedly eaten ten human bodies with her syndicate. Speaking in a recent interview with local media, Kwayedza, the 37-year-old said that the spirit became strong in 2012 and ever since then she has approached many apostolic prophets who have failed to exorcize the spirit.

Russia moves to label Jehovah's Witnesses as 'extremist organization'

The Russian justice ministry has moved to label Jehovah's Witnesses an 'extremist organization' following years of government suspicion toward the group.
The lawsuit filed with the Russia’s Supreme Court against the national headquarters of the country's Jehovah’s Witnesses wasn't dated and has not yet been scheduled for legal action, USA Today reported.
In response to the filing, the press office for the Russian branch of the religion released a statement Thursday saying it would represent 'dire consequences' for religious freedom in Russia if approved.
