The letter bomb sent to the offices of the International Monetary Fund in the centre of Paris, when opened injured a female employee of the IMF. She also suffered injuries to her face and arms. The letter bomb was addressed to the world lender's European representative blew up as she opened it, police said.

Ekiti Residents Queue as Fayose Distributes Bags of Rice, N200 Cash [See PHOTOS]
Ekiti state Governor Ayodele Fayose on Wednesday, stepped out to the street and personally led his staff to distribute bags of rice and other foodstuffs at Nova Road, Ado Ekiti.
The governor also topped the goodies with N200 cash for each bag of rice collected.

French govt issues terror attack warning after armed student opened fire at high school injuring eight people
A 17-year-old student has been arrested after a gunman opened fire at a school in the small southern French town of Grasse, Alexis de Tocqueville, injuring at least eight people including the headmaster.
The teenager armed with a rifle, two handguns and two grenades has been arrested and a second is possibly being sought.

A pastor has discovered one of the largest uncut diamonds in Kono district, Sierra Leone.
Pastor Emmanuel Momoh's discovery, which is yet to be valued weighs 709 carats, is now locked up in Sierra Leone's central bank in Freetown, BBC reports.
he diamond is the biggest to be in Sierra Leone since 1970, when the 969-carat Star of Sierra Leone was dug up.
The diamond was first taken to President Ernest Bai Koroma on Wednesday evening before being locked up.

The Iraqi soldier found the body of the girl in a mass grave of about 24 victims, most of who were children, after a part of the besieged city was taken back from the terror group.

Woman defends her son who police accuse of fleeing the scene of a car crash and leaving his elder brother to die
Police are accusing Aidan Camacho, 19, who crashed into a parked car and a tree in Queens, New York, of fleeing the scene and abandoning his brother to die. Aiden's mother, Fernanda Almestica, does not agree with the police that Aidan left his elder brother, Angel Camacho, 21, to die. She denies that Aiden was driving the car which crashed and killed Angel at 4:15 a.m. on Sunday.
