Here's Donald Trump's $1.1 trillion budget that puts #AmericaFirst

Today, US President, Donald Trump released a $1.1 trillion budget outline that proposes a $54 billion increase in defense spending offset by deep cuts to the State Department, the Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Environmental Protection Agency, as well as dozens of other federal programs.

Republicans on Capitol Hill applauded the ramp up in defense spending and cuts to non-military expenditures in President Donald Trump's proposed budget, while Democrats argued he was jeopardizing programs critical to American families. See the complete Budget Outline HERE

Barack Obama is currently in Tahiti, French Polynesia where he will spend a month at Marlon Brandon's privately owned retreat Tetiaroa atoll, which the Oscar-winning actor bought in the 1960s and is frequented by Hollywood stars.
He arrived Tahiti without his wife or daughters then checked into the resort which has villas that boast of their own plunge pools and cost between 2,000 euros ($2,150) and 12,300 euros per night.

Kind-hearted man is beaten and robbed at a restaurant after he offered to help pay for his attackers' meals who were short of cash

A man has been hospitalised with broken bones, cuts and bruises after he was attacked by men whose meals he offered to pay for. The 37-year-old victim was at Texas Chicken and Burgers in Brooklyn, New York on March 1st when he spotted two men who could not foot their bill so he offered to help them out, but they rejected it.

NFF president Amaju Pinnick this afternoon was all smiles as not only his candidate Ahmad Ahmad was elected as the new CAF president, but he defeated Anjorin Moucharafou of Benin 32-17 votes to get elected into the CAF executive committee representing West Zone B in the CAF general elections that took place today in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

3 Nigerians and 4 other Manchester United kiosk workers face jail time after being caught stuffing money down their trousers


7 Manchester United Kiosk workers are facing jail time after they were captured on camera stuffing money down their trousers. 

The management installed the peephole cameras at an Old Trafford burger stand after they noticed that the tills were repeatedly down and this helped them catch the employees stealing some of the money.
The employees caught are Anthony Agabaje, Mustafe Belkhair, Fliavio Andrade, Lugman Arogundada, Justino Edmilson, Mwila Bwanga and Olamide Oyawoye. The seven of them, all between 20 - 22 years, were linked to around £600 taken when Old Trafford hosted a rugby league match. In total around £4500 has disappeared.and the young workers have been convicted of theft by their employer.

President Buhari for the first time since assuming office, presided over the National Economic Council meeting at the state house Abuja today.  Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has being the one presiding over the council since the inception of this administration.

The meeting had in attendance governors, Minister of Finance Kemi Adeosun, Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami and CBN Governor Godwin Emefiele. See more photos after the cut.
