Jemimah Joseph Aniekebo was abandoned by her dad when she was only a girl. He left her, her sisters and her mother because they were all female children and couldn't possibly amount to much, but Jemimah proved the naysayers wrong and went on to become a safety engineer.

$200,000 worth of jewelry stolen from Kendall Jenner's home in Los Angeles

21-year-old, Kendall Jenner's $6.5 million mansion in Los Angeles got hit by burglars yesterday. According to TMZ, jewelry estimated at $200k was stolen.

Drunk man is left needing surgery after he stuck two live fish up his anus and one swam into his abdomen

A drunk man in China took it into his head to insert two live fishes known as pond loaches into his anus, predictably, it had devastating results. He was rushed to hospital where doctors were able extract one but the other had broken through the bowel wall causing severe abdominal pain to the patient. 

According to reports, the 45-year-old man claims to have been drinking on March 10 and put the fish inside his body by himself.  He was rushed to the hospital the next day with signs of a high fever, low blood pressure and severe stomach pain. Surgeons did an abdominal digital radiography to locate the loaches.

Court remands former NNPC boss, Andrew Yakubu, in Kuje prison

The Federal High Court in Abuja has remanded Former Managing Director of NNPC, Andrew Yakubu in Kuje prison pending the hearing of his bail application on March 21st.

The former NNPC boss is being investigated for corruption after $9.6 million and £72,000 was found inside a fireproof safe at his home in Kaduna state on February 10th.
