Shocking details of parties, booze and prostitutes emerge as the biggest scandal in the history of the US navy unfolds


The 'Fat Leonard' case as it has come to be known has shocked the US navy to its core. It is a tale of bribery and corruption on an unprecedented scale. The scandal takes its name from Leonard Glenn Francis - nicknamed 'Fat Leonard' - a 51yr old Malaysian defense contractor who pleaded guilty to defrauding the military out of millions with active participation of senior military figures.
The latest officers to be named in the case are Nine current and former military officers namely: Rear Admiral Bruce Loveless, Captain Donald Hornbeck, Captain David Lausman, Marine Colonel Enrico de Guzman, warrant officer Robert Gorsuch, Captain James Dolan, and Commander Stephen Shedd, they referred to themselves as the Lion King's Harem, the Wolfpack, the Cool Kids and the Brotherhood.

Breaking: Ahmed Ahmed defeats Issa Hayatou to become the new CAF president


Issa Hayatou's 29 year reign as CAF president has come to an end. He lost the election today in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia when he faced his strongest opponent in the history of CAF presidential elections, Ahmad Ahmad of Madagascar to see who will rule football on the continent for the next 4 years.

Ahmed Ahmed defeated Hayattu with 34 votes to 20 votes making him the CAF president for the next 4 years..

Heavy traffic as Benue State youths protest continuous killings by Fulani herdsmen

Hundreds of aggrieved youths today, barricaded some roads in Benue State to protest against incessant killings by Fulani herdsmen.

No fewer than 10 persons were killed and several others injured after suspected herdsmen attacked Mkgovur village in Buruku Local Government Area of the state last Friday.  

It was gathered that herdsmen forcefully entered the village to graze on farmlands but were resisted by the youths. They left only to mobilise and returned to the village in large numbers shooting sporadically and chasing everyone from their homes.

Ethiopia is currently in happy mood in celebration of victory of new CAF President, Ahmad Ahmad.

In the election, which was held at CAF’s 39th General Assembly in Addis Ababa, Ahmad defeated Hayatou in a shock result after picking up 34 votes to the 70-year-old’s 20.

Unsure of what the end of the reality show holds for him, Big Brother Naija housemate, Thin Tall Tony, TTT, has rejected a N1 million offer from Big Brother to quit the house. 

In a diary session with Big Brother, the housemate, who is up for eviction this weekend turned down the offer insisting he will finish the show.

Go Back And Wear Uniform - Senator Yayi Tells Customs Boss, Ali

Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola on Thursday asked the Comptroller General of Customs, Hameed Ali to go back and wear his uniform. 

He said the rules of the Nigerian Senate still stands on the issue of the uniform.

Issa Hayatou’s near 3 decade reign as CAF President today ended as delegates vote him out of the post. 
Hayatou lost to his rival Ahmad Ahmad in historic election held in Ethiopia.

After 29 years and five terms as president of CAF, Hayatou lost to Ahmad on a voting scale of 34 to 20.
