Babysitter kills five-month-old baby by throwing him into playpen because he was fussy

A babysitter has been arrested for the death of an infant after he died while in her care. Barbara Kendrick, 65, had been taking care of 5-month-old Cooper Dubovik when he became really fussy and in frustration, she forcefully threw the tender child into his playpen.

"I was not appointed Comptroller General of Customs to wear uniform" - Customs CG, Hameed Ali, replies Senate

Comptroller General of Customs, Hameed Ali, has replied members of the senate who ordered him to appear before the house on March 15th in his official uniform as a customs officer. Hameed in an interview with TVC today, says he was not appointed to wear uniform but to do his work effectively:
"No! I was not appointed Comptroller General of Customs to wear uniform. Does Uniform work or the person behind the uniform? 

Ministry of Foreign Affairs to investigate claims of some Nigerians being denied entry into the US despite valid visas

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama who had earlier denied reports of Nigerians being denied entry into the US despite having valid visas, yesterday tweeted that the Federal government will begin investigations into claims of entry denial made by some Nigerians with valid US Visas. Onyeama stated this in a tweet he shared but has since deleted. The tweet reads.

President Buhari to return to work on Monday- Femi Adesina


Senior Special Assistant to President Buhari on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, says President Buhari will on Monday write to the National Assembly to notify them of his return to the country. According to Adesina, this will make his return to work formal and constitutional.

I can't recall ever being so sick- President Buhari says

President Buhari who just returned from a medical vacation from the UK, says he can't recall being so sick while he was a young man and even as a military officer. According to BBC, President Buhari said this when he spoke at the presidential villa Abuja earlier today:
"I am feeling much better now. There may however be need to have further follow-ups within some weeks. 
I have received the best of treatment I can receive. I couldn’t recall ever being so sick since I was a real young man including the military goings ups and downs"he said
