Photo: Nigerian Navy dismiss officer for possession of 14.55kg of Marijuana


A Nigerian Navy (NN) Seaman, Haruna Umar, has been dismissed from service after he was caught with 14.55kg of Marijuana.

Umar was dismissed and handed over to operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) after a court martial found him guilty of the offence.

The suspect was arrested in June last year after he was caught with the drugs.

A statement signed by the spokesperson for the Nigerian Navy Ship (NNS) BEECROFT, Lieutenant Elizabeth Ibrahim, warned people not to transact any business with him as a military man.

Sickening video: Two men intentionally break drunk woman's leg because she asked them to


This is indeed sickening! A footage circulating online shows the moment two men broke a woman's leg in the opposite direction. What makes it even more bizarre is that they did it with encouragement from the woman.
The trio were drunk, having been drinking together on the bench visible in the video, and the woman apparently came up with the request that the men should break her leg. Obliging her, the woman got in position, putting her foot on the bench and holding on to one of the men, while the other man got in position to break her leg.

Wife of the embattled leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, IMN, Ibraheem Zakzaky, Zeenat Zakzaky, has claimed that former President, Goodluck Jonathan ordered the murder of her three sons while President Muhammadu Buhari slaughtered thousands of the sect’s members. 

Zeenat alongside her husband have been held in custody of security agents since 2015 despite a Federal High Court ruling ordering their release.

In an open letter to the President, who is currently on a medical vacation in London, Zeennat demanded an explanation from Buhari on why despite the court ruling, they have not been released.

South Korean President, Park Guen-hye impeached


South Korea's Constitutional Court has upheld a decision by the country's National Assembly to impeach President Park Guen-hye in a unanimous decision with all eight judges on the court voting to remove Park from office. Park is the first South Korean President to be impeached.
An election for her replacement must now be held within 60 days.

The impeachment decision was announced by Justice Lee Jung-mi in a live, national broadcast. Park's problems began in October 2016, when revelations emerged about the influence her confidante and adviser Choi Soon-sil had over the Presidency.

The two days joint operation which was led by Col Dourai and Lt Col Mohaman of the Cameroonian Defence Forces had troops drawn from the Cameroon’s Battalion Rapid Intervention (BRI) and 151 Task Force Battalion of 21 Brigade, Nigerian Army.
