Accused blackmailer Stephanie Otobo, released from Kirikiri prison (Photos)

Stephanie Otobo, the lady who alleged that she was in a relationship with the founder of Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleman has finally been released from Kirikiri prison.
She was released this afternoon after her N100k bail was signed off by the Chief Magistrate, Kikekomo Bukola Ayeye. The Canada- based Nigerian, was on Monday arraigned on four- count charge of terrorism, fraud and blackmail when she claimed to have had an affair with the man of God. More photos after the cut...

Photos of the two police officers sentenced to death over Apo six killings


A federal High Court in Abuja today sentenced two police officers, Emmanuel Baba and Ezekiel Achenege, to death for their roles in the killing of six Apo spare parts dealers in 2005. The officers were found guilty of killing the traders who according to them, they thought were armed robbers.  More photos below...

Senate orders Customs boss, Hameed Ali, to appear before it in his Uniform


The senate today ordered Comptroller General of Custom, Hameed Ali, to appear before it on March 15th in his complete Customs Officers uniform. The senate gave the order following the refusal of Customs to comply with its directive to suspend the collection of duty on old vehicles. Hameed who is a retired Nigerian Army Colonel, has never worn the Customs officers uniform since assuming office in August 2015.

Apo Six Killings: Court sentences two policemen to death over extra judicial murder

Justice Ishaq Bello of the Abuja High Court, today, Thursday March 9th, sentenced two police officers to death for their roles in the killing of two of the Apo six spare parts dealers in 2005.
The officers sentenced are the 4th and 5th defendants, Emmanuel Baba and Ezekiel Achenege. 
The court discharged and acquitted Danjuma Ibrahim, Othman Abdulsalami, Nicholas Zakaria and Sadiq Salami, of all 9-counts charge.

Barrack and Michelle Obama share inspiring letter to mark International Women's Day


Barrack Obama and Michelle Obama celebrated International Women's Day yesterday by sharing a letter the former US First lady received from a female fan. The letter which came in the mail just a day after the former US President and First Lady left the White House was only seen by the couple after they returned from their vacation.

Before sharing the letter titled "I'm in", Barrack shared a short note to accompany it. He wrote;
