Aide to Minister of State for Niger Delta Affairs resigns over one year unpaid salaries

The Special Assistant to the Minister of State for Niger Delta Affairs, Professor Claudius Daramola, Nathaniel Adojutelegan, has resigned his appointment over one year unpaid salaries.

The Ministerial aide tendered his letter of resignation in December last year but was received by the Ministry just recently. In his letter, Adojutelegan stated that he was resigning over the nonpayment of his salary by the State Minister for a period of one year.

Justice Adegboye Gbolagunte of an Ibadan High Court has sentenced to death by hanging, a 200 level student of Lead City University, Ibadan, Moshood Owolabi pictured above. Moshood was sentenced to death after the court found him guilty of stabbing one Seun Kolawole, a fellow student, to death two years ago.

Ambode accuses Fashola’s Ministry of frustrating his efforts to rehabilitate Oshodi-Airport Road

Lagos state governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, says the Ministry of Works, Road and Housing run by former governor of the state, Babatunde Fashola, is frustrating his administration's effort to rehabilitate the Oshodi-Airport road which has been in a deplorable state for a while.

Ambode made the allegations after inspecting some strategic projects in different parts of the state yesterday.

Leicester city reportedly name Craig Shakespeare as head coach till end of season

Leicester City football club of England, the defending champions of England have announced Craig Shakespeare, assistant coach turned caretaker manager, as its new head coach till the season's end.

Following the much criticized sacking of Claudio Ranieri who helped the club to its first premier league title, the club apppointed Shakespeare as its caretaker manager, but following wins over Liverpool and Hull city- he's now been given the permanent role of manager till the season's end.

According to the report by Sun U.K; Owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha and son Aiyawatt held talks with the former England coach this week to discuss the plans going forward.
