Pregnant ESPN host hits back at Twitter trolls who directed sexist remarks at her


ESPN broadcaster Sam Ponder, 31, who is seven months pregnant with her second child has hit back at Twitter users who insulted her about her appearance and her abilities to perform on her job. The attacks on Sam started when Richard Deitsch from Sports Illustrated reported that Sam was likely to take over from Chris Berman on ESPN's  'Sunday NFL Countdown' show.

Berman’s departure left open, three significant NFL on-air jobs at ESPN and the moment Richard hinted that Sam could fill that spot, the vitriol started pouring in.

Robbers steal $15M by disguising as Police at a South African airport


A group of at least eight robbers disguising as Police have carried out a robbery at O. R. Tambo International Airport in South Africa, reports say. The robbers wearing police uniforms were said to have driven into a restricted zone on Tuesday evening and headed straight to cash-laden containers unloaded from a cargo plane.
According to a Times Live report, they made away with $15 million which was about to be loaded onto an aircraft bound for London. After the robbery incident, the unidentified robbers escaped through the same entrance at the airport.
However, police have confirmed the robbery and suspect it to be an inside job.
While a police source who spoke to BBC described the robbery as looking like 'something scripted from a Hollywood movie.'

Two 'bar workers' in Phnom Penh’s Chamkarmon district, Cambodia on Tuesday, March 7th, filed a sexual assault complaint against a Nigerian businessman after he failed to pay them for entertaining him. According to the complaint, the man agreed to give each woman $25 per hour to spend time with him at a French bar on Sunday night.

The Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun has condemned in strong terms, the killing of two persons by men of the Nigeria Customs Service, on Wednesday, March 8th, at Kobape in Obafemi Owode Local Government Area of the State, along the Abeokuta-Sagamu expressway. A statement signed by Barr. Taiwo Adeoluwa, Secretary to the State Government, says some officers of the Service, in a hot chase of a vehicle suspected to be carrying bags of rice along the expressway, shot at it, killing the driver and another person instantly.
On seeing the consequence of their action, and in apparent fear of possible reprisal by symphatisers, they immediately abandoned the chase and fled the scene.

Muslim teenager gets abused and receives death threats after she was filmed twerking in hijab

A Muslim teenager believed to be about 17 years has received death threats after a video emerged of her twerking with a masked man in the middle of a busy Birmingham city centre while passers-by gathered around to watch. In the offending video, the girl can be seen dancing and thrusting her derrière back and forth against the man's crotch while clapping and singing along.
The photo was posted on Facebook and enraged users poured their anger on her in the comments section, with most calling her names and saying she deserves to be killed, while a few people defended her and asked that she should not be judged harshly.
