"Mrs Mary Akpobome remains a valued Executive Director of the Bank" Heritage bank denies suspending Alibaba's wife

Management of Heritage Bank has denied suspending one of their executive directors, Mrs Mary Akpobome who is also the wife of ace comedian, Alibaba. Sahara Reporters first carried the news saying she was sent on a compulsory suspension so she can recover loans she signed off on.

Transgender florist hacked to death in Malaysia as two men stand trial for raping her two years ago

Sameera Krishman, 27, a transgender florist was hacked, shot and mutilated in Kuantan, eastern Malaysia. Sameera has been the victim of homophobic attacks since she transitioned. In 2015, she was kidnapped, raped and tortured by two men who were due to appear in court at the same time Sameer met her untimely demise.

A 400 level student of the University of Ghana has allegedly committed suicide by jumping from her balcony in the early hours of Wednesday, March 8th.

According to reports by local media, the deceased identified as one Jennifer Nyarko, who was believed to be suffering from hay fever, reportedly jumped from the balcony of the Akuaffo Hall annex, Room 407 after missing lectures for several days. 

Man claiming to be son of murdered Kim Jong-nam shares video from his hiding place

A man who claims to be Kim Han-Sol, son of murdered Kim Jong-nam, has posted a video from hiding. In the video which was posted online and has been viewed by South Koreans after it was broadcasted on TV news, the man said his father was killed "a few days ago."

During the 40-second clip, the alleged son of the estranged half-brother of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un can be seen holding up a black North Korean passport to prove his identity.
