Man Utd to be Without Ibrahimovic as Striker Faces 3 Match Ban

Manchester United striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, could be banned for 3 games as he has been charged by the English FA for violent conduct. 

Ibrahimovic and Bournemouth's Tyrone Mings clashed during Saturday's 1-1 draw after Mings, 23, landed on the United forward's head with his studs.

Moments later, Ibrahimovic caught Mings in the face with his elbow at a corner.

"The players were involved in two separate incidents in or around the 44th minute which were not seen by the match officials at the time but caught on video," said an FA statement.

Naira Appreciates To 460 At Parallel Market

Nigerian naira on Monday appreciated by 1.09 per cent to close at 460 from 465 to a dollar at the parallel market.

The currency also depreciated against Pound sterling to 560 but remained stable against the Euro to close at 480 at the black market segment.

At the official market, the currency dropped 0.08 per cent to 305.50 per dollar. 

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has directed Money Deposit Banks to henceforth process and meet the demand for dollars and other foreign currencies within 48 hours.

Thiery Henry to be Next Arsenal Manager if Wenger Leaves

There are talks that former Arsenal striker, Thiery Henry, could be the replacement of Arsene Wenger at the London club. 

According to reports, Henry is being favoured by the only son of the owner of the club, Josh Kroenke to take over as manager at the end of the season if Arsene Wenger decides to leave.

The Telegraph says Josh, who is a huge fan of Henry, “will make sure” he’s an option to take over if Wenger departs. 

Wife Stabs Husband To Death For Playing ‘Baba Ijebu’

A 29-year - old housewife , Onyinyechi Akunne, who allegedly killed her 35- year -old husband, Abuchi Akunne, with a kitchen knife over a lottery ticket of Premier Lotto Ltd also known as “Baba Ijebu”, was on Monday brought before an Ikeja High Court. 

Onyinyechi is facing a charge of murder which contravenes Section 221 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State 2011.

She, however, denied the charge.

The State Prosecutor , Mrs C . K Tuiyi - Carena , told the court that the accused allegedly committed the offence on March 28, 2015, at her residence located at No . 85, Idimu Road, Ejigbo , a suburb of Lagos.

The Omega Fire Ministries has denied that the General Overseer of the church, Apostle Johnson Suleiman has a hand in the arrest and detention of one Miss Stephanie Otobo by the police last Friday, March 3, 2017. 
A statement signed by Phrank Shaibu, Communications Manager to Apostle Suleiman also denied that there was a so-called amorous relationship between the said Miss Otobo and the General overseer.

The statement of Omega Fire Ministries was in reaction to two letters written by Lagos lawyer, Festus Keyamo demanding the same N500 million on behalf of the said lady and also accusing Apostle Suleiman of procuring policemen to intimidate and detain his client unlawfully, having earlier promised to marry her.
