Uriel gets evicted from Big Brother Naija


 Uriel Oputa has been evicted from the on-going Big Brother Naija game. All the housemates except Bisola, Thin Tall Tony and Bally, were up for eviction.
 
Efe secured the highest votes from viewers while disqualified contestant, Kemen secured the lowest, followed by Uriel. She now joins other evicted housemates like Soma, Miyonse, Coco Ice and Gifty.

Professor Nabi Coz Chaim Nwoye, Hebrew History and Etymology Lecturer at Corner Stone University, Jerusalem said an Igbo man can never be President of Nigeria.  

Nwoye urged Igos to focus on achieving Biafra. He however said it would be very difficult to achieve Biafra except support comes from the United States, Israel, Germany and China.

He said: “Igbo man can only be a president of Biafra. I do not see the Igbo in the Presidency of Nigeria. Any Igbo man who wishes to contest to be president of Nigeria is on his own. There will be no room for the Igbo man in the Presidency of Nigeria.”

Nigeria's Economy Records First Positive Reading- Exports Jump by Over 50%

Nigeria's trade balance in the fourth quarter of 2016 turned positive as exports rose by more than half, data from the national bureau of statistics on Saturday said. 

This is the first positive reading since the same quarter a year ago, Reuters say.

However, the country's economy shrank 1.5 percent over the course of the full year due to lower oil revenues and a shortage of hard currency.

The United States government has questioned the ability of Nigeria's State Security Service, SSS to investigate money laundering cases in the country. 

In an assessment published in the March 2017 edition of the International Narcotics Control Strategy Report (INCSR) authored by the US Department of State’s Bureau for International Narcotic and Law Enforcement Affairs, the US described Nigeria as a house of fraud. 

Father Rapes Lesbian Daughter To Prove Sex is Better With Men

A 54-year old man raped his teenage daughter after she confided in him that she was gay. 
MIRROR UK reports that the father, who cannot be named to protect the identities of his victims, also raped his other daughter during two decades of sexual abuse.

Judge Andrew Lockhart QC sentenced the father to 21 years in prison. Speaking during the sentencing, the judge said, “The court heard from both of these two women. They have both been severely psychologically damaged by your behaviour.

“Listening to [one of the victim’s] evidence of her feeling of guilt at leaving her sister to face you was the most harrowing of evidence.”
