Photos: Police round up over 60 African 'prostitutes' in Pattaya, Thailand

Police in Thailand on Thursday morning, March 2nd, hauled off 40 African prostitutes off the streets in efforts to clean up Pattaya's image. 

This follows the previous round up, which took place last Friday, where 20 African prostitutes, who claimed to be tourists, were arrested and taken to the police station for questioning. 

The raid on Walking Street and Beach Road was led by Netithorn Ratanasuchanan with local cops as well as police volunteers.

Father admits killing his 3-yr-old daughter who died after physical and sexual abuse

Matthew Lee Williamson is being tried in court for the death of his 3-year-old daughter, Kyhesha-Lee, who died at his home in Brisbane after being physically and sexually abused for a prolonged period. Williamson has pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the Supreme Court in Brisbane, Australia, on the basis that he failed to provide medical treatment for his daughter when he found her body in March 2013.

Donald Trump nominated for Nobel Peace Price

US President Donald Trump has been nominated for the 2017 Nobel Peace Price. According to Economic Times,Trump was nominated by an unidentified American who wants the controversial US leader recognised for "his peace through strength ideology".

318 people and organisations are in the running for this year's Nobel Peace Prize, including Pope Francis and Syria's White Helmets.  It is also believed to include jailed Saudi blogger Raif Badawi, and Edward Snowden.

Three suspected suicide bombers die in an explosion in Borno state (photos)

Three suicide bombers lost their lives today along Damboa Road, Maiduguri. According to the Borno state Commissioner of Police, Mr. Damian Chuckwu, two female bombers and a male bomber attacked petroleum tankers parked near a filling station along Damboa road. Two of them detonated while the third was gunned down by a soldier.
