Zimbabwean Prophet who said President Mugabe is dying this year, remanded

Prophet Patrick Mugadza, the leader of Kariba Church in Zimbabwe, who is alleged to have committed criminal offence by saying that President Robert Mugabe would die on October 17 this year, was further remanded in custody to next Monday 
Last month, he was arrested for creating a nuisance by giving a prophecy that President Mugabe wasn't going to live to see the end of 2017. 
Prophet Mugaza who has spent more than a month in remand prison following his arrest appeared before the High Court judge Priscillah Chigumba yesterday. 

Release male prisoners to marry us – Ghanaian women beg President Akufo-Addo

The Women from Assin Fosu in the Central region of Ghana are pleading for leniency for male prison inmates in the region. Some of the women in an interview with Adom News revealed that majority of them are seriously single and are being pressured by their families to marry before the end of 2017, a situation which is now causing them to sleep with married men.

Madrid bans Catholic group's anti-transgender bus


A catholic bus inscribed with an anti-transgender message has been taken off the roads in Spain, after activists, Trade unions and the Madrid City council kicked against it. The slogan on the orange bus which was spotted on Monday, read:

'Boy have penises, girls have vulvas. Do not be fooled.'

Tanzanian Gov’t bans alcohol in sachets


The country's Minister of Environment, Jan Makamba has said from Thursday, March 2, 2017,  there will be no import, manufacture, sales and consumption of alcohol contained in plastic bags in the country. The move which is expected to upset businessmen, some of whom make huge profits from their sale, as well as drinkers who will be forced to pay for bottled alcohol.
But the Minister said the ban will help protect its youths and environment due to the careless consumption of Alcohol.

Photos: Woman conspires with friends to dump her lover's corpse in bush in Ogun State

Ogun State Police Command has arrested 37-year-old Rukayat Basorun and her two friends for allegedly dumping a corpse in a bush at Mamugba Village in Ogijo community. A statement signed by the state Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, said after her lover died, Basorun allegedly connived with her friends, Omobola Shodimu and Aanu Owoade to secretly take the body to a bush where it was dumped.
The Divisional Police Officer at Ogijo police station, SP Tijani Mohammed, who got the information, led his men to the area where the principal suspect, Basorun, was arrested.
