Yahaya Jammeh's PHOTO Surfaces Online After He Left Gambia

Yahaya Jammeh's picture has surfaced online after a month he flew the small West Africa nation where he ruled for 22 years to cede power to President Adama Barrow and end a political crisis.

He landed in Conakry, Guinea's capital but set off again for Equatorial Guinea, where he has remain in exile.

EFCC Seizes Akpabio’s Wife’s School Over Alleged N108m Fraud

A school allegedly belonging to Unoma Akpabio, the wife of the immediate past governor of Akwa Ibom State, Godswill Akpabio, has been seized by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.

It was learnt that the seizure was part of investigations into the former governor who has been accused of alleged N108bn fraud during his tenure from 2007 to 2015.

Nigeria's Oil Production Hits 2 Million Barrels Daily

The Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu on Wednesday disclosed that crude oil production in the country had risen to two million barrels per day.

Kachikwu made the disclosure when he met with the House of Representatives Committee on Petroleum Resources (Upstream), chaired by a member from Delta State, Victor Nwokolo to defend the 2017 budget estimates of the Ministry of Petroleum Resources. 
Kachikwu explained that ongoing repairs on oil facilities and negotiations between the Federal Government and militant groups in the Niger Delta region were yielding results.

David Adeleke popularly known as Davido may have returned to his normal lifestyle after he worshipped at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG City of David, Victoria Island, Lagos last sunday. Davido on his Instagram has a photo that captioned him smoking. 
This has set tongues wagging that could he actually have surrendered his life to God, especially as he testified at the church service and vowed that he would serve God for the rest of his life.

Nigeria's Finance Minister on Thursday at the Federal Executive Council meeting stated how much is left in the country's Excess Crude Account, 

According to her, the balance in Excess Crude Account (ECA) = US$ 2,458,382,844.03 as at February 15, 2017.

GTBank Appoints Bolaji Lawal as Executive Director

Guaranty Trust Bank plc has announced the appointment of Bolaji Lawal as Executive Director and Babatunde Soyoye as Independent Non- Executive Director in a statement on Thursday. 

Prior to his appointment, Mobolaji Lawal was the Divisional Head, Digital Banking Division. He joined the Bank in 1992 as an Executive Trainee and rose through the ranks to become a General Manager, a position he held until his appointment as Executive Director. 

Scores of Boko Haram Terrorists Killed After Attack on Nigeria Air Force Chopper

Boko Haram terrorists in the early hours of Thursday attacked a naval chopper conveying medical aid supplies to Gwoza in Borno state. 

According to a statement by the Air Force spokesman, Group Captain, Ayodele Famuyiwa, only one occupant of the chopper sustained an injury as the terrorists fired at the chopper.
