A female suicide bomber who tried to detonate a bomb at the NNPC Mega station located at Damboa road in Maiduguri, Borno state capital, was shot dead by officials of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps NSCDC early this morning. NSCDC intercepts female suicide bomber that attempted to attack an NNPC mega station in Borno (see her photo)

Two female suicide bombers believed to be around 18 years were intercepted on Tuesday who were targeting motorists at the NNPC Mega station in Maiduguri, Borno Station. (one of the girls pictured above). Spokesman for the Borno State Police Command, Victor Isuku, who confirmed the incident said one of the bombers was shot dead while trying to escape.

Following Fox news' Billy O'Reilly's comments in an interview with U.S President Donald Trump, where he called Russian President Vladimir Putin 'a killer', Russia has now asked the television station to apologize over what the Kremlin sees as 'unacceptable' and 'insulting' comments by its presenter towards the Russian leader.
