Malawian lady axed by ex-husband over a bag of flour


A 22-year-old woman from Ekesi Village in Malawi has been left with broken head after her ex-husband attacked her with an axe for refusing to let him sell a bag of maize flour. According to nyasatimes, the victim, Agness Faindani was attacked at about 4am on Thursday, January 19;  after she confronted her ex-husband who came to her house to get a bag of maize flour from her garden. Narrating the incident to Malawi News Agency (MANA) , the victim who is presently receiving treatment at the Mchinji district hospital, said:

South African rugby legend, Joost van der Westhuizen who has been battling with motor neuron disease, is reportedly depending on oxygen for survival. Speaking to Huisgenoot Friday, Joost’s brother Pieter, confirmed that the 45-year-old has been on oxygen for a while but decided to keep it away from the public and for the sake of his two kids.

‘Apparently, he has been placed on oxygen for a while now but decided to keep quiet about it. For the most part, much details about his health were not made public for the sake of his two children, Jordan (12) and Kylie (10). It’s incredibly tough. He’s not doing well, but he keeps on fighting.

Donald Trump Uses First Act In Oval Office To Sign Executive Order On Obamacare


Donald Trump vowed to repeal Obamacare if he was elected as President of the United States. And sure enough, shortly after his inauguration has ended, he made the Affordable Care Act the subject of his first executive order signed in the Oval Office.

Trump directed agencies to ease the regulatory burdens associated with Obamacare as the US Congress determines how to repeal and replace the health care law.

Trump also signed the commissions for his Defense Secretary James Mattis and his Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly, who were confirmed by the Senate on Friday.
