Photos: Veteran Actor, Tunde Alabi's foot finally amputated following complications from Diabetes, has no home to return to

Nollywood actor, Paul Julius, who has been following up the case of the ailing actor, gave an update on his Facebook page. He wrote
So sad! Our Veteran Actor's foot finally amputated...I've laboured through thick and thin to save the life of Uncle Tunde....assisted vigorously by the indefatigable Chairman of Actors Guild of Nigeria, Lagos State Chapter, Mr. Don Pedro Aganbi and through
the contributions of a few spirited colleagues and fans, we were only able to manage to keep him alive but not with his full body as our once vibrant UNCLE TUNDE ALABI loses his right foot today at General Hospital, Lagos to Diabetes Mellitus. Now he's faced with another battle for survival.....Expensive drugs required to heal the amputated leg......no home to return, no money to afford one as his ailment has suck up his entire finances. We have done our best... ...What would you rather do to assist him....just put something in his account no matter how small and the Lord will reward you abundantly. Thank you.

'FG must ensure FFK does not die in detention' - PDP

PDP in a statement released this morning, warned that its member, Femi Fani-Kayode must not die in detention. This comes after reports emerged yesterday that he slumped at the EFCC premises. Read the press statement after the cut ...
1. It is common knowledge that in furtherance of its campaign of attrition against members of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) in the guise of an anti-corruption war, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, former Spokesperson for the PDP Presidential Campaign Organization (PDPPCP) was arrested in the premises of the Federal High Court, Lagos.
2. His re-arrest is the latest in a series of plans designed to further harass and intimidate our members and supporters using the security and intelligence apparatus of the Nigerian State. A few days before his arrest his wife, Precious Chikwendu and their 8 month old son, Aragorn, were arrested and would have been detained but for the timely intervention of Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti State.
3. What is not common knowledge is that at the time of his arrest, Chief Fani-Kayode was ill and taking medication. Since his arrest, he has been denied access to his medication and medical doctors who are conversant with his medical history.
4. As at the time of writing this statement, officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have continued to deny Chief Fani-Kayode access to his medication.

Speaking with Vanguard, Uwujaren said there was no truth whatsoever in the report
“There is no truth whatsoever in the dubious and attention-seeking alarm that Fani-Kayode slumped and was revived by EFCC medical personnel. Responding to a question on Dasuki, Jonathan said
“They said the National Security Adviser stole $2.2billion. I don’t believe somebody can just steal $2.2 billion.
