Photos: NDLEA nabs SA based Nigerian man in possession of drugs worth N31m at Lagos Airport

A 45-year-old Nigerian based in Pretoria, South Africa, Abiodun Israel Banjo has been arrested by officials of National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA for possessing parcels of drugs at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport (MMIA) Lagos. 

According to a statement issued on Monday, Sept. 12th by NDLEA spokesman, Mitchell Ofoyeju, the arrest took place during the outward screening of passengers on a South African Airline flight to South Africa.

According to the person who shared these photos, this young lady (pictured), from Obiaruku, Ukwani LGA, Delta State was kidnapped two days ago by some boys in a tinted car. She was taken to Obiaruku bush and was about to be butchered, when some Hausa people rushed to the rescue and saved her. More photos after the cut.

Israeli Ex-President Hospitalised After Stroke, Life ‘In Danger’

Former president and prime minister Shimon Peres was this evening hospitalized in grave condition, after suffering a massive stroke.

At a brief press conference outside the hospital where Peres was fighting for his life, his son Chemi Peres asked Israelis to “pray for him” in “these difficult hours.” Chemi Peres said “difficult decisions” would have to be made in the next few hours.

Jessica Beer, a Junior Secondary School (JSS) II  student of Gyegeh Memorial College Logo1 , Makurdi, Benue state, has committed suicide.

The female student according to sources drank a substance believed to be poison and was rushed to a clinic in Akpehe, before doctors confirmed her dead on arrival.
