Militants Blow Up Another Pipeline In Delta


A militant group, Niger Delta Greenland Justice Mandate, NDGJM, in the early hours of Tuesday, blew up the Afiesere-Iwhrenene major delivery line to UPS/UQCC, operated by Nigeria Petroleum Development Company, NDPC/Shorelines Petroleum in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State.

Residents of Mutomo Village in Gatundu, Kiambu County, Kenya were shocked to find a 90-year-old man dumped alive near a graveyard on Monday, September 12th.

Samuel Kibure was dumped near Mutomo graveyard along Gatundu-Mutomo Kenyatta road route where he was discovered by members of the public. According to Kibure, he had been admitted at a Gatundu hospital and later discharged.

President Muhammadu Buhari has again hit at the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) saying what they left behind after their 16 years rule was no savings, no infrastruture, no power and so many more NOs, lol.

Speaking to journalists at his hometown in Daura after the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations, the President said, ‘‘I want Nigerians to realise that what this government inherited after 16 years of the PDP government was no savings, no infrastructure, no power, no rail, no road and no security.”

The statement, which came through a statement by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Malam Shehu Garba, is the second within two days of efforts to explain the nation’s economic recession that has imposed harsh economic conditions on the vast majority of Nigerians, many of whom are now grumbling loudly, asking the president and his administration to deliver more quickly on the change he promised them during electioneering.

Rio Paralympics: Ndidi Nwosu Wins Nigeria's 5th Gold


Nigeria’s Ndidi Nwosu has won the country's fifth gold. She won it in the women’s -73kg Powerlifting event at the ongoing Rio 2016 Paralympic Games in Brazil.

Nwosu lifted 140kg to equal the Paralympics Record (PR), which gave her the coveted gold at the event. France’s Souhad Ghazouani came second after she lifted 135kg, while Egypt’s Amany Ali came third.

Mother And Married Son Face Felony Charge Of Incest


A 44-year-old woman in North Carolina has been arrested for having sex with her married 25-year-old son. Melissa 'Missy' Kitchens and her son, Shaun Thomas Pfeiffer, each face a felony charge of incest.

Kitchens was arrested on September 7 and her son, from Weaverville, north of Asheville, was arrested a day later. According to arrest documents, the mother and son had sex in August.
