New York State Assembly man Commits Suicide Just As He Was Supposed To Turn Himself In For A Fraud Case

A New York State Assemblyman committed suicide this morning, just as he was scheduled to turn himself into the FBI on a fraud charge. 

Officials say Bill Nojay, a Republican representing the 133rd Assembly seat in Upstate New York, shot himself near his brother's grave in the family burial plot at Riverside Cemetery in Rochester, around 9:22am.

Former First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan, is claiming ownership of the $31.4 million involved in an alleged fraud case before a Federal High Court in Lagos.

Counsel to the first defendant in charge, with case number FHC/337C/16, Mr. Gboyega Oduwole, informed the court that Mrs. Jonathan filed a fundamental application against the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), claiming ownership of the money.

Brazilian couple Irineu Cruz and his wife Jucicleide Silva have been trying for the past 20 years to conceive a daughter without success. They have 13 sons ranging from 1 month to 18 years old. When the couple got together, they planned that the mother would name the girls while the father named the boys. The father has named 13 of their children who are all boys while the mum is yet to name any child because they don't have a daughter yet. Nigerian Facebook user, David Osaghae, shared the amazing testimony of how his premature daughter drew him closer to God. He wrote;

This was the beginning of a new me, the process of change, redemption ,salvation or simply put , Getting closer to God. My daughter was born on the 3rd of March 2002 . 5 months and 2 weeks of pregnancy. She was premature. I had just finished my overnight or 2nd job as a bouncer in a club in Germany. She weighed 790grams, not even 1kg.
