HIV Positive Ugandan Mum & Daughter Found Dead After Been Told To Leave UK


A mum with HIV and her daughter who had been told to leave Britain may have been starved to death in desperate poverty, an inquest heard.

Lillian Oluk, 36, and her two-year-old daughter Lynne Mutumba were found dead in their one-bedroom flat.

US And Russia Agree Peace Deal To End Violence In Syria



The US and Russia have agreed a peace deal for Syria, with a nationwide ceasefire between government forces and rebel groups set to begin early next week. Speaking in Geneva in the early hours of Saturday, US Secretary of State John Kerry said the agreement would be a “turning point” for the war-torn country if implemented, and suggested it could also lead at last to the removal of President Bashar al-Assad.

Mr Kerry said the plan was intended "to reduce violence, ease suffering and resume movement towards a negotiated peace and a political transition in Syria."

Special Court martial demotes major general to Brigadier General

A Special Court Martial of the Nigerian Army has demoted the Director, 68 Reference Hospital, Yaba, in Lagos State, Major General Patrick Falola, to the rank of Brigadier General. Falola was demoted after he was found guilty of unlawfully admitting students for clinical training without due clearance from the army headquarters. Major General Falola is said to have admitted international students from Espan Formation University, Cotonou in Benin Republic between July and September 2016.

Actor Found Dead Days After Release Of Movie About London Gang Life


An actor in hit film Brotherhood has been found dead just days after the release of his breakthrough film.

Aaron Eaton, 29, had recently starred as Teardrop in the final instalment of the trilogy of hit films about gang life in the capital.

He lived with his family in New Addington, south London, and was found dead earlier this week.
