NSCDC discovers 40 fake NGOs exploiting IDPs in Borno state



The commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Borno state chapter, Ibrahim Abdullahi, says the agency has discovered at least 40 fake non-governmental organisations (NGOs) that are exploiting internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Borno State.

The President, Dangote Industries, Aliko Dangote, has said his company should be able to generate about 12,000 megawatts of electricity for the country by 2018.
He also said that his business estate would start selling foreign exchange to the Central Bank of Nigeria by 2020.
