Brother of Chief Promise Achigbule Wali, Eze Wali Ejike, took to Facebook to narrate how one of the suspects who kidnapped and killed his brother, identified as one Ogechi Ihunwo, led officers of Anti-kidnapping unit of Rivers State Police command to Igbo-Etche/Eneka forest to where the body of the late chief Wali was buried after his family paid N10m ransom. See what he wrote after the cut

"IF God is God those that plotted, kidnapped and killed my beloved brother, must surely face justice. ogechi Ihunwo a native of Woji Town in Obio/Akpor LGA of Rivers State, is one of those who kidnapped and killed my beloved immediate elder brother, Chief Promise Achigbule Wali. The kidnappers collected the sum of ten million naira as ransom from me and thereafter killed him. And never released the corpse to the family. Although, six of the kidnappers including Ogechi Ihunwo is currently standing trial at the RIvers State HIgh Court. In his confession in this video to the police, Ogechi narrated how some persons in my community held meeting with them at Shepard Hotels were they plotted to kidnap and kill my brother, which they later executed. He took the anti-kidnapping team of Rivers State Police Command to Eneka/Igbo-Etche forest near Port Harcourt, were he told the police that my brother's corpse was buried. It will recall that immediately after the kidnap and murder of my brother, whom they believed and see as my backbone in my family, some persons in my community Mgbuesilaru started executing their evil plots on how to take over the throne from me as the Monarch of Mgbuesilaru and Okporo. They even went further to smear my name with respect to what happened to my brother so that they can achieve their goal as they believed that they have weakened me. Now, they want the executive Governor of Rivers State, His Excellency Chief (Barr) Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, CON, to withdraw my recognition and give it to them so that they can destroy the community. I want sincerely appreciate efforts of the Rivers State police command and DSS in respect of this case. IF GOD IS GOD
