Armed Herdsmen Kill Redeemed Church Pastor In Kaduna

Armed men suspected be herdsmen have killed a Pastor with the Redeemed Christian Church of God in Kaduna.

The deceased, Pastor Luka Ubangari, was shot dead at Shawa village, near Godogodo, in Jema’a Local Government Area of the state, while returning from an evangelical visit to Golkofa village.
Ubangari was killed few days after the state Governor, Nasir El-Rufai condemned the incessant killings by herdsmen in the state.
A source who spoke with Punch, alleged that the herdsmen “who are out to remove us from our ancestral lands, continue to kill our people.
“We were happy that the Governor (Nasir El-Rufai) had visited and assured us of improved security and that the killers would be found and punished.
“To our shock, Pastor Luka Ubangari was ambushed, shot and killed as he was riding his motorcycle after an evangelical visit to Golkofa.”
