UK Reveals the Most Important National Resources in Nigeria

Oil and gas aren't the most important national resources in Nigeria, according to the Britain High Commissioner to Nigeria, His excellency, Paul Thomas Arkwright.

Instead of blaming its colonial master for its lack of industrial development, Nigeria need to look inward and find solutions to her problems, he said. 

"I know many Nigerian youth are enterprising and can – do. It is not oil or gas that are Nigeria’s most important resources but its people. The human capital that Nigeria has – Nigerians themselves and their drive, determination and ability to get things done often when facing challenges – are what make me optimistic about Nigeria future.”

Davido Allegedly Issues Dud Cheque To Seller Of Mercedes-Benz GLE 450

Nigerian artiste, Davido has been accused of issuing dud cheques to an auto dealer, Mr. Anekwu Chika Valentine of Prestige Autonet Limited.  

Davido allegedly issued the cheques as balance payment for a Mercedes-Benz GLE 450 he purchased; SAHARA REPORTERS. Documents obtained by the online news platform shows that the auto dealer has already contracted a Lagos-law firm, W.K Shittu and Co. to assist him to recover the debt.

Donald Trump: Germany Reacts to US Air Strike on Syrian Military Base

The German government has reacted to the United State's air strike on a Syrian Air Force base in retaliation for chemical attacks on civilians earlier in the week. 

According to Germany, the attack was "understandable."

“The fact that the United States has now reacted with a strike against military sites of the Assad regime, from which this cruel war crime was perpetrated, is understandable,” said Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel.

The US strike hit an airbase just outside Homs thought to be used to store chemical weapons, including sarin gas.

It's the first time Donald Trump has ordered retaliatory military action since taking office, and is in response to the use of sarin on civilians in Idlib this week.

Senator Sheriff said he walked out on former President Goodluck Jonathan at a stakeholders' meeting held at the Shehu Musa Yar'Adua Centre, Abuja because he was not properly recognised as the national chairman.

He said: “I respect Dr. Jonathan. He is a former President but as of today, I'm the most senior member of this party. Therefore, if I respect him, the respect must be reciprocated.
